About the Lawyer
Luis Fernando Camargo Flechas is a key member of the Billion Law team, serving as a legal researcher whose analytical rigor and thoroughness have made him an indispensable resource to the firm's attorneys and clients alike. Luis brings a level of precision and intellectual depth to his work that consistently elevates the quality of Billion Law's legal work product. Luis earned dual degrees from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia — one of Latin America's most prestigious universities — graduating as a Licensed Lawyer from the School of Law and simultaneously completing an academic concentration in Business and Administrative Management from the School of Management. His dual academic background gives him a distinctive ability to analyze legal problems through both a rigorous legal lens and a practical business perspective, a combination that proves invaluable in the complex commercial and transactional matters Billion Law regularly handles. Prior to joining Billion Law, Luis gained broad legal experience across corporate, commercial, administrative, and intellectual property matters. He has advised national and international clients on corporate structuring, mergers, contract drafting and review, foreign exchange compliance, and trademark protection before regulatory authorities. That foundation, built across multiple practice environments, informs the sophisticated and thorough approach he brings to every research assignment. At Billion Law, Luis is relied upon heavily to tackle complex legal questions, synthesize large bodies of law, and produce research and analysis that attorneys can depend on. His attention to detail, critical thinking, and commitment to delivering client-focused solutions make him a trusted and valued member of the team. Luis is fluent in both Spanish and English, allowing him to work seamlessly across jurisdictions and serve the firm's diverse client base.
